During my recent stay at De Vergulden Eenhoorn, I experienced a delightful blend of comfort and culinary excellence. The quiet room and inviting bed ensured restful nights, allowing me to wake refreshed for the day's adventures. The highlight, however, was the on-site restaurant. After a day of exploring the nearby Amstel train station and its quick access to Amsterdam's vibrant heart, I savored an evening meal that surpassed expectations. The staff, including the amiable Nim, made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant, enhanced by its garden setting, offered a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Breakfast was equally satisfying, featuring scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon, paired with fresh yogurt and granola-a perfect start to an adventurous day. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a small sink area in the kitchenette. While we appreciated the fridge and coffee maker, this improvement would enhance convenience for longer stays. De Vergulden Eenhoorn serves as an excellent base for culinary enthusiasts and travelers alike.
